Head Cases Form Up!
The Bay Area legends MACHINE HEAD are back with a new song, “Sutures”. This is just off their extensive North American Tour with Killswitch Engaged in support of their 11th studio album, 2025’s “Unatoned“.
No word yet if this means the band are working on a follow up to “Unatoned”, if this track was a leftover from that recording session, or just another one-off single to add to our rotation.
In any case, “Sutures” is a blistering, relentless track of pure ferocity. It goes for the throat and doesn’t let go till it reaches bone, just to rip the bone clean off by the time the brutal mid-section comes in.
An anthem for broken souls, we literally can’t wait to hear this song live. It checks all the boxes of a live MH banger:
Crushing riffs? – Check!
A sing along chorus? – Check!
A ten-ton breakdown? Check!
