The holidays and drinking go hand in hand, much like pumpkins and Halloween. But when you get together with old friends to raise a glass, you probably don’t expect every sip to become a life-changing experience. That’s the setup behind SPIRIT TASTING, the new thriller from Chris LaMartina, the filmmaker behind WNUF HALLOWEEN SPECIAL.

The theatrical roadshow trailer is now available, giving us a look at this twisted indie thriller ahead of its November 12 world premiere at Baltimore’s historic Senator Theatre.

Directed and edited by Chris LaMartina, with a screenplay co-written by LaMartina and Michael Varrati, the film stars Sean Doherty, Matt Lake, Melissa LaMartina, Trevor Wilhelms, Matt Baughman, Cate Paris, and Tatiana Nya Ford. The film also features appearances from Grady Hendrix, Clay McLeod Chapman, Peaches Christ, and Henry Zebrowski.

The film will screen as a theatrical roadshow across the country, with LaMartina and select cast members appearing for introductions and Q&A sessions. A Blu-ray release is also planned, featuring bonus material that includes a feature length making of documentary.
