After our lord and savior, Ozzy Osbourne passed away last year, his wife and manager Sharon and son Jack announced the return of their festival, Ozzfest. Back in 2018, Ozzfest rang in the New Year in Southern California at The Forum in Los Angeles. Since then fans have been begging for the return of the event to honor the legacy of Ozzy.

Saturday, July 10, 2027 at the National Bowl in Milton Keynes
North American dates will follow with stops in the U.S. and Mexico:
Saturday, September 11, 2027 at Glen Helen Amphitheater in San Bernardino, CA
Before the festival makes its Mexico City debut:
Saturday, September 18, 2027 at Estadio GNP Seguros
Early bat tickets for all three shows on sale Friday, November 6 at 10:00 AM (local time).
OZZFEST, the iconic global touring hard rock music festival launched more than 30 years ago by Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne, will return in 2027 with three historic stops: the UK (Milton Keynes), U.S. (San Bernardino, CA) and for the first time ever in Mexico (Mexico City).
“Ozzy was the first to launch his own traveling metal festival,” says Sharon Osbourne, OZZFEST’s co-founder. “And Ozzfest will always remain an important part of Ozzy’s legacy.”
Promoted by Live Nation, the 2027 dates will kick off next summer in the UK (OZZFEST’s spiritual home) Saturday, July 10, 2027 at The National Bowl in Milton Keynes, before returning to the U.S. Saturday, September 11, 2027 at Glen Helen Amphitheater in San Bernardino, CA (where OZZFEST launched in 1996), and the highly anticipated first edition in Mexico City, MX Friday, September 18, 2027, at Estadio GNP Seguros.
The announcement comes off the back of the 30th anniversary of the inaugural OZZFEST in 1996. It will be the first since the passing of the late global rock icon OZZY OSBOURNE and his historic farewell concert “Back to the Beginning” in 2025 and the last OZZFEST, New Year’s Eve 2018 at The Forum in Los Angeles headlined by OZZY. OZZFEST’s 2027 edition promises to keep the flames alive with a lineup curated by Sharon Osbourne. The full line-ups will be revealed in the coming months.”
The news doesn’t stop there either. Sharon Osbourne told Hits Daily Double that “50 Percent” of the lineup has been confirmed!
Now to those who weren’t lucky enough to have been to an Ozzfest during Ozzy’s reign as headliner. The show was the center of all things heavy. It was where you would see dream lineups such as Black Sabbath and Iron Maiden sharing a stage. Alongside bands like Slayer, Pantera, Tool, Megadeth, Machine Head and many other major bands.
But for most fans, including us, as much as our heroes headlining the night was a selling point. The main draw was witnessing first hand, up and coming bands that would never get on any other show before the fest.
Ozzfest was a launching pad to many of today’s largest bands. Slipknot, Lamb of God, Hatebreed, Coal Chamber, and System of a Down just to name a few all got their start on Ozzfest in one way or another. All these bands were seen as too heavy or too strange for mainstream radio.
