In honor of Cassandra Peterson’s recent birthday and the 45th anniversary of her alter ego, ELVIRA, the fine fiends over at NECA have revealed a new figure for your collection with a new Ultimate edition based on her look from the 1988 flick ELIVRA: MISTRESS OF THE DARK.
The Mistress of the Dark has been haunting our screens, shelves and Halloween decorations for decades, so naturally she needs another figure to join the collection. NECA’s new Ultimate Elvira gives fans a 7 inch scale version of the horror hostess complete with her signature look, soft goods dress and plenty of accessories pulled directly from the 1988 movie.
And yes, she comes with Gonk.
Elvira’s trusty familiar joins her alongside a snake, bracelets, dagger and sunglasses, giving collectors plenty of ways to recreate some of the movie’s memorable moments. There’s also that wonderfully strange casserole dish which comes with an attachable monster and tail. Because if you’re going to make an Elvira figure, you might as well bring the cursed casserole along for the ride.

The fully articulated figure also includes interchangeable hands and faceplates, allowing collectors to change up Elvira’s expressions. The whole package comes in collector friendly window box packaging with an opening front flap, so you can keep her safely displayed without completely sealing the Mistress away from the outside world.
Priced at $37.99, the Ultimate Elvira is currently available for pre-order through the NECA Store, with the figure expected to arrive sometime in 2027.
It’s the Elvira toys of Elvira toys, and considering we’re celebrating 45 years of the Mistress of the Dark, we’re certainly not complaining about another excuse to make room on the shelf.
