There’s a Samhain lyric that keeps rattling around in our heads whenever we think about Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival: “We all want our time in Hell.”

And damn it, we absolutely do, especially when it comes to Hellraiser.

With anticipation building for the upcoming game backed by Clive Barker, featuring Doug Bradley returning as the Hell Priest himself, Pinhead, our personal desire to spend some quality time in Hell has reached a completely unreasonable level. Now IGN has dropped 14 minutes of gameplay, and yep, we’re jealous.

Bring on the hooks and chains. We’re ready.

The newly released gameplay footage gives us an extended look at the first person horror shooter, beginning in a courtyard that looks suspiciously familiar to the house featured in David Bruckner’s Hellraiser reboot. From there, things take a decidedly uglier turn as we descend into a blood soaked basement filled with demonic corpses and plenty of reasons to reconsider our life choices.

The footage also offers a look at the game’s inventory system, combat and some of the nightmarish environments players will be exploring. It’s only 14 minutes, but it gives us a pretty damn good idea of what developer Saber Interactive has been cooking up.

Players will descend into the depths of Hell in an attempt to rescue their love from the Cenobites while battling cultists, grotesque creatures and other assorted inhabitants of the underworld. Thankfully, you won’t be completely defenseless. The Genesis Configuration puzzle box and an arsenal of earthly weapons will give you a fighting chance.

Whether that fighting chance will actually be enough remains to be seen.

Hellraiser: Revival will be available in two editions, with additional details expected as we get closer to launch.

Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival arrives October 8, 2026.

And yes, we want our time in Hell.
