“EVIL DEAD BURN” has been getting plenty of attention lately, and you can thank Halloween Horror Nights for some of that. With the Evil Dead Burn IP getting its own house at this year’s event, fans are already getting a taste of what this latest chapter in the franchise has in store.
Now the film is heading home.
New Line Cinema and Warner Bros. Pictures’ EVIL DEAD BURN makes its global streaming debut exclusively on HBO Max Friday, October 2, with a special HBO linear premiere following Saturday, October 3 at 8 p.m. ET.
This entry may also be one of the grimmest of the newer Evil Dead films because the horror isn’t simply unleashed on a group of strangers. The story starts with a family already dealing with loss and personal turmoil before the Deadites show up to make everything considerably worse.

Official Synopsis: Following the death of her husband, a woman seeks refuge with her in laws at their secluded family home. When the demonic evil takes hold and family members begin transforming into Deadites, the gathering becomes a full blown nightmare. There is nowhere to run, and the bonds that hold this family together become part of the horror.
Directed by Sébastien Vaniček and written by Vaniček and Florent Bernard, the film stars Souheila Yacoub, Tandi Wright, Hunter Doohan, Luciane Buchanan, Erroll Shand and Maude Davey.
Produced by Rob Tapert and Sam Raimi, with Bruce Campbell among the executive producers, EVIL DEAD BURN arrives on HBO Max October 2.
For those heading into Halloween Horror Nights this year, you can catch the film at home before stepping into the house. Just remember, family reunions are supposed to be awkward, not Deadite infested.
