Halloween is fast approaching, and with all the ghoulish fun and frights going on, we know that you have tons of options for a frightfully fun Halloween weekend. We know of one party that will truly be shaking things up and making sure all the monsters get to mash, as L.A. Comic Con weekend is getting a Halloween nightcap! Portalverse, the official L.A. Comic Con Haunted After Party, is taking over Bob Hope Patriotic Hall on Friday, October 30, for a night of cosplay, themed cocktails, live DJs, immersive visuals, and spooky encounters.

Following its debut last year, the event returns with a Halloween celebration that invites heroes, villains, and everyone in between to trade the convention floor for a night of music, dancing, and supernatural shenanigans. This year’s event starts at 9pm and runs all the way til 2am so you better get those Uber’s sorted and those DD’s ready behind the wheel for a spooky good time.

From what we have learned, fans can expect projection-mapped visuals, themed bars, photo opportunities, roaming performers, and plenty of chances to show off their Halloween costume or favorite cosplay.

Early bird general admission starts at $45 per person. Keep in mind that you must be 21 or older to attend, and your L.A. Comic Con badge does not include admission. The convention is taking place from Friday, Oct 30th til Sunday, November 1st at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Tickets are still available for weekend passes as well as individual day passes. This year looks to be one of the convention’s biggest as over 150 artists and creators are being featured, and the vendor list is a hefty list of pop culture must-haves. Portalverse tickets must be purchased separately.

So, if you’re planning to spend Halloween weekend celebrating all things geeky, spooky, and strange, this could be another event worth adding to your calendar. We plan on doing the twist and getting our ghost on at the event so we’ll see ya on the dance floor!
