AT THE READY LINE, MARINES! It’s time for a bug hunt, and the folks over at Sideshow Collectibles are bringing the big guns as Corporal Dwayne Hicks gets the HOT TOYS treatment, and we couldn’t be happier!
With the 40th anniversary of James Cameron’s ALIENS being celebrated all over the place this year, and Sideshow releasing Ripley and the Power Loader, as well as the Alien Queen, we’re banking on a few more Marines joining Hicks. We’ll wait for that to come to pass, though. If all we get is Ripley and Hicks, we’d be happy, but you can’t have the two leads without Newt or Bishop, or even a few Hot Toys Warrior Aliens. Ughhh, our collections are going to be huge!
FROM THE PRESS RELEASE: In James Cameron’s 1986 film Aliens, Lt. Ripley returns to face off against the terrifying Xenomorphs. A unit of Colonial Marines is dispatched to the colony of Hadley’s Hope on LV-426, only to walk straight into a deadly Xenomorph hive. Amid the chaos and overwhelming terror, Corporal Dwayne Hicks steps up as a calm, level-headed leader, fighting alongside Ellen Ripley to survive the ultimate extraterrestrial nightmare.
Continuing Hot Toys’ celebration of the film’s 40th anniversary, the Corporal Hicks 1/6 Scale Collectible Figure is ready for a bug hunt!
Based on Michael Biehn’s appearance as Hicks, the figure features a newly developed head sculpt with a separate rolling eyeball design and sculpted short brown hair. The body features silicone material arms for a seamless joint design, complete with a service tattoo printed on the left bicep.
Hicks comes outfitted in his USCM gear, including a tailored green camouflage Battle Dress Uniform, M3 Pattern Personal Armor with personalized decals, and an M10 Pattern Ballistic Helmet. The armor includes some familiar details, such as a red heart with a padlock on the chest and a bullet hole with the words “BORN AGAIN” on the left shoulder. The outfit is rounded out with weathered combat boots.

Additional mission equipment includes a USB-powered, LED-lit TNR Shoulder Lamp, an ME3 Hand Welder for sealing off those tight corridors, and a wristwatch. The figure also comes with a specially designed metal grating floor-themed diorama base featuring gruesome Xenomorph remains, an Aliens logo and character nameplate.
