Werewolves get a bad rap. Fleas, shedding, gnawing on everything, and don’t even get us started on the dry humping. Maybe that’s why we don’t get nearly enough werewolf movies these days. Then there are Zombies, who, in our opinion have been at the top of the monster food chain for a while as far as popularity goes. But have the two ever been head to head in an all-out brawl? Thankfully, a brand-new wolf/zombie crossover flick is headed to the UK for horror fans who like their furry monsters with a serious body count.

Kaleidoscope Home Entertainment has announced that DEAD HOWLING will make its UK premiere at Tubi FrightFest Halloween 2026 on Oct. 31, before arriving on DVD, Blu-ray and digital platforms Nov. 2.

From the producers of DOG SOLDIERS and TERRIFIER 3, DEAD HOWLING throws werewolves and zombies into the same post-apocalyptic wasteland, creating the kind of monster mashup that sounds like it was designed specifically for horror fans who have been waiting for someone to finally let the creatures loose.

The film stars Joel Jackson (Jungle), Ryan Kwanten (True Blood, Dead Silence), Temuera Morrison (The Mandalorian, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom) and Tom Burlinson (The Man From Snowy River, Flesh+Blood).

The story takes place after a zombie virus has devastated the world. Carter has carved out a solitary existence hunting the undead for sport, using a mysterious power that gives him a serious advantage over the things trying to kill him.

That routine changes when Carter saves two siblings, Megan and Billy, who are searching for a rumored safe zone. Carter reluctantly agrees to protect them as they make their way through the wasteland, only to discover that surviving the journey means dealing with more than just zombies. The next evolution of the undead is coming, while other survivors prove to be just as dangerous.

In other words, the apocalypse has officially become a zombie versus werewolf problem.

DEAD HOWLING is part of the official selection for Tubi FrightFest Halloween 2026 and will screen twice during the event’s Halloween Day celebrations, giving UK audiences two chances to catch the film on the big screen before its home entertainment release.
