If there is one thing the Hellraiser franchise has never been short on, it is creative ways to make suffering look downright unpleasant. Now Saber Interactive and Boss Team Games are giving fans a much closer look at how that suffering will play out when Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival arrives this October.
A new Gameplay Overview Trailer just dropped for the game, offering a deeper look at combat, exploration, crafting, and the supernatural abilities waiting inside the Labyrinth. The trailer is narrated by Xalavier Nelson Jr., who voices protagonist Aidan Lynch, and gives players a better idea of what they can expect when they step into this new chapter of the Hellraiser universe.

SYNOPSIS: Set within the dark world of the Labyrinth, Hellraiser: Revival puts players in the role of Aidan as he faces cultists, grotesque creatures and other horrors while trying to survive the nightmare surrounding him. The game combines traditional survival-horror elements with a more action-focused combat system, giving players an assortment of weapons ranging from brutal melee tools to firearms.
Staying alive will require more than simply pulling the trigger, however. Players will need to scavenge for ammunition and healing supplies, dodge incoming attacks, set traps and craft items while dealing with enemies including Cultists, Runners, Bursters and the Unworthy. There is also an upgrade system that allows Aidan to barter for additional equipment as the nightmare progresses.
The new footage gives a much better sense of how those abilities fit into the game’s combat while also showing off the various threats waiting for players. It is a decidedly more hands-on approach to the Hellraiser mythology, putting the franchise’s signature blend of flesh, pain and supernatural horror directly into the player’s hands.
For those who want to get a taste of the game before launch, a free Steam demo is currently available. The demo offers an early look at the original story while introducing players to the game’s combat, crafting and puzzle-solving mechanics.

Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival is scheduled to launch Oct. 8, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC via Steam. The standard edition is priced at $39.99, while the digital Deluxe Edition will be available for $49.99. Pre-ordering either edition also unlocks the Labyrinth Pistol Skin and Martyr Sawblade Skin.
Two Collector’s Editions are also available, featuring licensed Hellraiser collectibles. Those editions include the Deluxe Edition content and the pre-order bonuses as well.
With the release date now just around the corner, Saber Interactive and Boss Team Games are clearly ready to let fans get considerably more acquainted with the Labyrinth.
