If you grew up with a stack of R.L. Stine books sitting next to your bed, there is a pretty good chance horror became part of your life before you were old enough to see some of the movies we love today. Before we were watching slashers, many of us were turning the pages of GOOSEBUMPS and FEAR STREET, waiting for the next creepy twist. Stine introduced an entire generation to literary horror at a young age, and for a lot of us, those stories opened a door we never wanted to close.
Now Tubi is bringing that nostalgia back with the first trailer for R.L. STINE’S PUMPKINHEAD 2, arriving Oct. 9 as part of TERROR ON TUBI. Tubi has been quietly becoming a serious destination for horror fans, thanks in large part to its massive library of genre movies. The streamer has also expanded TERROR ON TUBI into a year-round horror destination, with its October programming adding even more movies, originals, and spooky favorites to the lineup.

Inspired by Stine’s THE HAUNTING HOUR, R.L. STINE’S PUMPKINHEAD 2 follows Sam (Bean Reid) and Becka (Adeline Lo) as they race to stop a new Pumpkinhead curse from claiming the town of Redhaven.
Peterson plays Cassandra, a witch connected to the supernatural events unfolding in the sequel, how appropriate.
The sequel also brings Cassandra Peterson, famously known as Elvira, into the world of Stine’s horror.

Tubi’s October lineup will also feature a collection of horror favorites, including 28 WEEKS LATER, CREEPSHOW, EVENT HORIZON, EVIL DEAD (2013), FRIDAY THE 13TH, FRIGHT NIGHT and GOOSEBUMPS, alongside new TERROR ON TUBI programming.
